Cooper Square Workshop is a performing organization dedicated to the artistic process. Like the early beginnings Off-Off-Broadway at places such as LaMama and Caffe Cino, its mission is to provide artists with a commercial free workspace. The workshop has produced A Fabulous Beast, Othello, Lesbian Bathhouse, Columbus: In The Age of Gold, Requiem For A Heavyweight, and an award winning production of Sam Shepard's Seduced, which was the inaugural production of the workshop at the Kraine Theatre.
